Dance & Drama

Dancing is the highlight of the day. Every student waits with excitement for their dancing session. From Prep to High school, students participate in the program learning traditional and Modern Greek dances under the instructions of our talented and motivated dance teacher. In the early years, students learn movement with songs and basic steps:

As they become more competent, students progress to partner work and more challenging dances:

"Teaching dancing in different schools allows me to work with a large number of students. The students at AHEPA GREEK SCHOOL have definitely proven to be enthusiastic and hard working. This makes me very proud of the children and I look forward to our Monday classes together. I have tried to cover dances from most regions of Greece with the students, which allows me to teach the differences in the steps and music depending on where the dance is from. Watching the students learn whilst having fun reminds me how rewarding this job is to me."
